The TRASSIR TR-D4281WDIR2 Morocco camera is a compact 8MP mini dome for detailed CCTV. It records 3840×2160 video at up to 20 fps with WDR off. With WDR on, it delivers 8MP at up to 15 fps for balanced images. The low profile metal housing suits offices, stores and public interiors.

Imaging and optics

Firstly, the 1/2.8″ CMOS STARVIS sensor provides high sensitivity and low noise. Real WDR 120 dB keeps faces and objects visible in strong contrast scenes. The mechanical ICR filter ensures natural colour by day and higher sensitivity at night. IR LEDs illuminate up to 20 m for short and mid range monitoring.

The fixed 2.8 mm lens offers a 106° by 58° wide view. Moreover, three axis adjustment with pan, tilt and rotation helps you frame doors, counters and corridors accurately. A stroboscope function is available as a visual deterrent in sensitive zones.

Audio, storage, and analytics

Secondly, the camera supports H.265+ compression to reduce bandwidth and storage use. It also supports H.265, H.264+ and H.264 for broad NVR compatibility. Edge recording on a MicroSD card up to 128GB keeps a local video archive. Therefore, recording continues even if the network or NVR has issues in Morocco.

A built in microphone captures ambient audio from the scene. Two way audio works through AudioIn and AudioOut, so operators can talk to people near the camera. In addition, alarm 1 in and 1 out allow connection to external sensors or sounders.

IVS functions include human detection, line crossing, area control, abandoned object detection and line crossing statistics. With object type filtering, selected rules can react only to people or vehicles. Moreover, corridor mode optimises the image for aisles, stairways and narrow passages.

The TRASSIR TR-D4281WDIR2 Morocco camera supports TCP/IP, ICMP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, DDNS, RTP, RTSP, RTCP, NTP, IGMP, UPnP, SMTP, UPnP-TM, P2P, Bonjour, IPv6 and Onvif. Consequently, it integrates smoothly with TRASSIR and many third party VMS and NVR systems.

Power, build, and climate

The camera can be powered by PoE 802.3af or 12V DC. Power consumption is only 4W on DC and 4.3W on PoE. The metal body provides IP67 weather protection and IK10 impact resistance for busy public areas.

Notably, a TVS 6000V surge suppressor helps protect against power spikes. The operating range is -40°C to +60°C, so it handles Moroccan heat and coastal air in cities like Casablanca. Finally, the compact Ø106.7 x 51.1 mm design and light weight simplify ceiling or wall installation.
