TRASSIR TR-D8281WDIR4 Morocco 8MP 4K Dome Camera

The TRASSIR TR-D8281WDIR4 Morocco camera is an 8MP vandal resistant dome for detailed CCTV. It records 3840×2160 at up to 20 fps with WDR off. With WDR on, it delivers 8MP at up to 15 fps while keeping details in bright and dark areas.

Imaging and optics

The 1/2.8″ CMOS STARVIS sensor provides high sensitivity and low noise. Real WDR 120dB keeps faces visible against windows and bright lights. The mechanical ICR filter ensures natural colour by day and higher sensitivity at night. IR illumination reaches up to 40 m, so entrances, yards and small car parks stay visible after dark.

The fixed 2.8 mm lens offers a wide 106° by 58° view. This coverage suits building fronts, warehouse zones and wide indoor spaces. Moreover, three axis adjustment with pan, tilt and rotation lets installers aim the scene precisely.

Audio, storage, and analytics

Firstly, the camera supports H.265+ compression to reduce bandwidth and storage needs. It also supports H.265, H.264+ and H.264 for broad compatibility with NVRs and VMS. Edge recording on a MicroSD card up to 128GB creates a local archive if the recorder or network link fails.

A built in microphone captures ambient sound. Two way audio works through AudioIn and AudioOut, so operators can speak to people near the camera. In addition, alarm 1 in and 1 out allow connection to external sensors, beacons or sirens.

Smart IVS functions include human detection, line crossing, area control for intrusion and leaving a zone, and abandoned object detection. Furthermore, line crossing statistics support basic flow counting at gates or corridors. With object type filtering, selected rules can react only to people or vehicles. Corridor mode optimises the image for stairways and narrow aisles.

The TRASSIR TR-D8281WDIR4 Morocco dome supports TCP/IP, ICMP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, DDNS, RTP, RTSP, RTCP, NTP, IGMP, UPnP, SMTP, UPnP-TM, P2P, Bonjour, IPv6 and Onvif. Therefore, it integrates smoothly with TRASSIR recorders and many third party platforms used in cities such as Casablanca.

Power, build, and climate

The camera can be powered by PoE 802.3af or 12V DC, so cabling design stays flexible. Power consumption is 7.1W on DC and 7.3W on PoE. The metal housing provides IP67 protection against dust and water for outdoor and exposed locations.

Notably, a TVS 6000V surge suppressor helps protect the camera from lightning and power spikes. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +60°C, which suits Moroccan summer heat and cool coastal air. Finally, the compact Ø103.5 x 82.4 mm body and light weight simplify ceiling and wall mounting.
