TRASSIR TR-D3281WDIR4 Morocco 8MP Dome Camera

The TRASSIR TR-D3281WDIR4 Morocco camera is an 8MP vandal resistant dome for demanding CCTV projects. It records 3840×2160 video at up to 20 fps with WDR off. With WDR on, it provides 8MP at up to 15 fps while keeping details in bright and dark areas.

Imaging and optics

The 1/2.8″ CMOS STARVIS sensor delivers high sensitivity and low noise. Real WDR 120 dB helps in entrances with glass doors or strong indoor lighting. The mechanical ICR filter ensures natural colour by day and higher sensitivity at night. IR illumination reaches up to 40 m, so yards and car parks remain visible in low light.

The fixed 2.8 mm lens gives a wide 106° by 58° field of view. This covers large rooms or parking zones with one dome. Moreover, three axis adjustment with pan, tilt and rotation lets installers aim the camera exactly at doors, gates or counters.

Audio, storage, and analytics

Firstly, the camera supports H.265+ compression, which reduces bandwidth and disk use. It also supports H.265, H.264+ and H.264 for flexible integration with many NVRs. Edge recording on a MicroSD card up to 128GB keeps a local archive if the recorder or network fails.

A built-in microphone records ambient sound from the scene. Two-way audio works through AudioIn and AudioOut, so operators can talk to people near the camera. In addition, alarm 1 in and 1 out allow connection to magnetic contacts, sirens or beacons.

Smart IVS functions include human detection, line crossing, area control for intrusion and leaving a zone, abandoned object detection and line crossing statistics. With object type filtering, rules can react only to people or vehicles. Corridor mode provides a vertical layout for stairways and narrow corridors, which is useful in multi-storey buildings.

The TR-D3281WDIR4 supports TCP/IP, ICMP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, DDNS, RTP, RTSP, RTCP, NTP, IGMP, UPnP, SMTP, UPnP-TM, P2P, Bonjour, IPv6 and Onvif. Therefore, it integrates smoothly with TRASSIR systems and most third party VMS platforms used in Morocco.

Power, build, and climate

The dome can be powered by PoE 802.3af or 12V DC, so cabling design stays flexible. Power consumption is 4.5W on DC and 4.6W on PoE. The metal housing provides IP67 weather protection and IK10 impact resistance for public and street level areas.

Notably, a TVS 6000V surge suppressor helps protect against lightning and power spikes. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +60°C, so the camera copes with hot Moroccan summers and cool coastal nights. Finally, the compact Ø112.2 x 89.7 mm body and moderate weight make ceiling or wall installation straightforward.
