MiniNVR 3216R Morocco TRASSIR Network Video Recorder

The MiniNVR 3216R Morocco is a compact IP video recorder powered by TRASSIR OS. It targets small and medium CCTV systems that need stable multi channel recording. In practice, it fits shops, offices, warehouses and many service locations.

Recording and performance

Firstly, the recorder runs TRASSIR OS based on Linux for reliable 24/7 work. It supports H.264 and H.265 compression, which helps save storage and bandwidth. In addition, IP video input modes cover 18, 16, 9 or 4 IP cameras, depending on the selected configuration.

Each channel handles two streams, main and sub, with video or video and audio. Moreover, the main stream resolution goes up to 8MP, while the sub stream goes up to 720p. The main stream bitrate is up to 8 Mbps per channel, and the sub stream reaches up to 1 Mbps.

For viewing, the MiniNVR 3216R supports 2 channels at 8MP 15 fps, 4 channels at 4MP 20 fps or 6 channels at 2MP 25 fps in real time. The same profiles apply to archive playback. Consequently, one recorder can serve mixed camera layouts without overloading the system.

Video outputs and connectivity

The NVR provides one VGA and one HDMI output for local control monitors. These outputs can work as duplicate or independent screens, with HDMI up to 2560×1600 and VGA up to 1920×1080. However, when used independently, both outputs support up to 1920×1080.

Furthermore, two Gigabit Ethernet ports allow flexible network design and camera grouping. Remote operators can connect through the TRASSIR Client app, a web browser or Android and iOS mobile apps. In addition, cloud connection support simplifies remote access for integrators managing projects across Morocco.

Audio 1 in and 1 out on RCA connectors enable local listening and simple talkback. Therefore, the MiniNVR 3216R can support basic audio monitoring around reception desks and control rooms.

Storage, build, and deployment

The recorder supports two 2.5″ or 3.5″ HDDs up to 8TB each. Moreover, front and rear USB ports, including USB 3.0, simplify archive export and local backup. This helps operators share evidence quickly with security teams or authorities when required.

The unit uses a 12V DC power supply and consumes up to 40W. The working temperature range is 10°C to 30°C, which suits indoor racks and equipment rooms. Finally, the metal case measures 380 x 315 x 52 mm and fits a 19″ rack with the supplied kit, while the package includes power supply, mouse, screws, rack hardware and datasheet for fast installation.
